Yes! You can import your IMDb ratings CSV file:

  • Export your ratings from IMDb (Settings → Your Ratings → Export)
  • Upload the CSV file just like Letterboxd imports
  • IMDb ratings (1-10) are automatically converted to the 0.5-5.0 star scale
  • IMDb IDs provide faster, more accurate matching than title-based search
  • View on IMDb links are automatically added to your movie details
  • Compare Mode 🎬 → Two films go head-to-head. You decide the winner, and both scores adjust. Then, pick Next Pair to continue.

Canonova organizes your movies into 10 tiers based on Canonova Scores:

  • Tier 1 → 2300+ points (your absolute favorites)
  • Tier 2 → 2100-2299 points (excellent films)
  • Tier 3 → 1900-2099 points (very good films)
  • Tiers 4-10 → Decreasing score ranges down to 0-699 points

Tiers give you a clear visual hierarchy of your movie preferences, separate from star ratings.
